The Langford Trust was established to relieve suffering and to further animal welfare by:

  • promoting the practice, advancement and teaching of veterinary science
  • fostering public education in Animal Health and Welfare
  • developing and implementing methods of livestock production conducive to the health and welfare of animals.

To achieve this, the policy of the Langford Trust is to raise funds that can be used solely to benefit the University of Bristol, School of Clinical Veterinary Science at Langford.

Appeal for an Equine and Farm Animal Surgical and Imaging facility

This project is about a new ‘state of the art’ surgical and imaging facility for the treatment of sick horses and farm animals which will also provide adequate space for teaching advanced clinical techniques to an increasing number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. More information
